• Standard lesson — $50 per hour
• One-on-one, in your home or a local café, on your own computer.
• Lessons cover Windows, Microsoft Office, WordPress, Chromebook — or a mix of whatever you need. No lock-in, no minimum number of sessions.

Travel fees

I’m based in Newcomb, which means most of Geelong and the inner suburbs have no travel fee at all.

For locations further out, a small travel fee applies to cover fuel and time on the road.

How payment works

Payment is by cash or bank transfer at the end of each lesson. There’s no invoice to wait for, no card surcharge, and nothing to set up in advance. Just pay when we’re done.

Are private computer lessons worth it?

A lot of people assume private tuition is expensive. But think about it this way — one focused hour on the lesson, working on exactly what you need, on your own computer, in your own home or a local café, is often worth more than a full day in a group class.

At $50 an hour with no lock-in and no joining fee, you may find that two or three lessons is all you need to feel genuinely confident. How many lessons you want to book is totally up to you.

That’s $100–$150 to finally feel in control of your computer. For most people, that’s money very well spent.

Frequently asked questions about My Fee

Do I have to book more than one lesson?

No. You can book a single lesson with no obligation to continue. Many students book one session to sort out a specific problem and that’s all they need.

What if the lesson runs a little over time?

If it’s 5 or 10mn over time, it’s not a problem.

However, if it’s going to be longer, then it is something we will need to discuss as, 1 hour is usually all folks in the past could deal with, and I may have other commitments after my lesson with you.

Do you charge more for WordPress or more advanced topics?

No. The rate is the same regardless of what we’re working on. WordPress, Excel, Windows setup — it’s all $50 per hour.

Is the travel fee charged per lesson?

Yes, the travel fee applies each visit.
